- حاولت حكومة الانتداب البريطاني في عام 1929 منح اليهود امتيازات في حائط البراق، فهب أبناء القدس وكل فلسطين بثورة ضد الإنجليز واليهود جميعا ومنعوهم من تنفيذ مخططاتهم.
- In 1929, the British Mandate government tried to grant privileges to the Jews to the Buraq Wall of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, but all the sons of Jerusalem and Palestine, in general, revolted against both the British and the Jews and prevented them all from the implementation of their plans.

- حائط البراق هو جزء من الجدار الغربي للمسجد الأقصى المبارك يرتبط برحلة الإسراء والمعراج، حيث يرجح أن يكون الموضع الذي ربط فيه النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم دابته البراق في تلك الرحلة االمعجزة ثم دخل المسجد.
- The Buraq Wall is a part of the western wall of the Al-Aqsa Mosque. It is associated with the night journey of Israa and Miraj, as it was the most likely place where the Prophet -peace be upon him – fastened "Buraq" , i.e. the animal that he rode in that miraculous journey, before he entered the mosque.
- عن أنس بن مالك –رضي الله عنه- أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: (أُتِيتُ بِالْبُرَاقِ وَهُوَ دَابَّةٌ أَبْيَضُ طَوِيلٌ فَوْقَ الْحِمَارِ وَدُونَ الْبَغْلِ يَضَعُ حَافِرَهُ عِنْدَ مُنْتَهَى طَرْفِهِ قَالَ فَرَكِبْتُهُ حَتَّى أَتَيْتُ بَيْتَ الْمَقْدِسِ قَالَ فَرَبَطْتُهُ بِالْحَلْقَةِ الَّتِي يَرْبِطُ بِهِ الْأَنْبِيَاءُ قَالَ ثُمَّ دَخَلْتُ الْمَسْجِدَ فَصَلَّيْتُ فِيهِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ... ثُمَّ عَرَجَ بِنَا إِلَى السَّمَاءِ ..) - Anas bin Malik - may Allah be pleased with him – narrated that the Messenger of Allah- peace be upon him- said: "I was given the Buraq (to ride); it is a long white-colored beast that is larger than an ass but smaller than a mule and it puts its hoof at the far end of its sight". He (i.e the Messenger) added: "I rode it till I arrived at Baytul-Maqdes (Holy House)". He proceeded: "I fastened it to the ring to which the (earlier) prophets used to fasten it to". - يقوم مشروع الاستيطان الصهيوني في فلسطين على الادعاء الخاطئ بأن المسجد الأقصى مقدس لغير المسلمين يطلق عليه الصهاينة "المعبد/الهيكل"، ويعتبرون حائط البراق الذي هو جزء من الجدار الغربي للمسجد الأقصى من بقايا معبد/هيكل بناه الرومان على حد زعمهم.
- The Zionists' project of settlement in Palestine is based on a false claim to the Al-Aqsa Mosque as a holy place for non-Muslims they call "the temple". They consider the Buraq Wall, which is part of the western wall of the Al-Aqsa, as a remnant of a "temple" that was built by the Romans, as they put it.

- أقيمت الحارة المقابلة لحائط البراق لإيواء المغاربة الذين وفدوا إلى القدس منذ الفتح الصلاحي، وأوقفها عليهم الأفضل علي بن صلاح الدين (1186 – 1196م)، فعرفت باسمهم وأصبحت أرض وقف إسلامي.
- Held to accommodate the Moroccans who came to Jerusalem since its Opening by Salah El-Dine, the quarter outside the Buraq Wall in the Western Wall of Al-Aqsa Mosque was allotted for their benefits as an Islamic endowment (or Waqf in Arabic) by Ali bin Salah El-Din (1186 - 1196 AD), and so it came to be known after them (Magharba Quarter) and became an Islamic Waqf land.
