- حائط البراق هو جزء من الجدار الغربي للمسجد الأقصى المبارك يرتبط برحلة الإسراء والمعراج، حيث يرجح أن يكون الموضع الذي ربط فيه النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم دابته البراق في تلك الرحلة االمعجزة ثم دخل المسجد.
- The Buraq Wall is a part of the western wall of the Al-Aqsa Mosque. It is associated with the night journey of Israa and Miraj, as it was the most likely place where the Prophet -peace be upon him – fastened "Buraq" , i.e. the animal that he rode in that miraculous journey, before he entered the mosque.
- عن أنس بن مالك –رضي الله عنه- أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: (أُتِيتُ بِالْبُرَاقِ وَهُوَ دَابَّةٌ أَبْيَضُ طَوِيلٌ فَوْقَ الْحِمَارِ وَدُونَ الْبَغْلِ يَضَعُ حَافِرَهُ عِنْدَ مُنْتَهَى طَرْفِهِ قَالَ فَرَكِبْتُهُ حَتَّى أَتَيْتُ بَيْتَ الْمَقْدِسِ قَالَ فَرَبَطْتُهُ بِالْحَلْقَةِ الَّتِي يَرْبِطُ بِهِ الْأَنْبِيَاءُ قَالَ ثُمَّ دَخَلْتُ الْمَسْجِدَ فَصَلَّيْتُ فِيهِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ... ثُمَّ عَرَجَ بِنَا إِلَى السَّمَاءِ ..) - Anas bin Malik - may Allah be pleased with him – narrated that the Messenger of Allah- peace be upon him- said: "I was given the Buraq (to ride); it is a long white-colored beast that is larger than an ass but smaller than a mule and it puts its hoof at the far end of its sight". He (i.e the Messenger) added: "I rode it till I arrived at Baytul-Maqdes (Holy House)". He proceeded: "I fastened it to the ring to which the (earlier) prophets used to fasten it to". The prophet went on: "then I entered the mosque where I prayed two rak'ahs ... then he ascended me to heaven.) (Sahih Muslim / 234

- توجد مداميك حجرية ضخمة ضمن حائط البراق ترجع إلى عهود رومانية، حيث يعتقد أنهم أقاموا معبدا على أساسات المسجد الأقصى، ولكن توجد أحجار أقدم في الجدار الجنوبي للمسجد الأقصى تعود إلى الفترة اليبوسية وتؤكد أن المسجد الأقصى أقدم من المعبد الروماني.
There are huge stone blocks in the Buraq Wall which date back to the era of the Romans who are believed to have set up a temple on the foundations of the Al-Aqsa mosque. However, there are even more ancient stones in the southern wall of the Al-Aqsa Mosque which date back to the Jebusite period. These stones confirm the fact that the Al-Aqsa Mosque was older than the alleged Roman temple.

- يتميز هذا الجزء من الجدار الغربي للمسجد الأقصى (حائط البراق)، إضافة إلى جزء آخر عند رباط الكرد، بأن حجارته الخارجية مكشوفة، حيث حفت الأجزاء الأخرى من هذا الجدار، وكذلك الجدار الشمالي للمسجد الأقصى، بالمدارس والزواياوالربط التي أقيمت على مر التاريخ الإسلامي بهدف المجاورة بالمسجد الأقصى.
- This part of the western wall of the Al-Aqsa Mosque (Al-Buraq Wall), in addition to another part which is known as the Ribat of the Kurds, is characterized by its exposed stones. Almost all other parts of the western wall, as well as the northern wall, is closely covered with several schools and religious institutions such as Zawaya and Ribats which were established over the course of Islamic history to enable settling in the neighborhood of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
